Things Need to Change

What needs to happen, and what will really happen.

All politics is about now it Money, that is the first and last thing on their mind, spending it and making it.

This needs to change.

The new system of government is simple, but getting it started impossible.

You want to lead, ok, no problem. You are stripped of everything, you own nothing.

You want to work for the government, ok, no problem, you are stripped on everything, you own nothing.

Anyone working for the government simple gets a debit card to a goverment account and everything they spend is published, nothing is left out, and at no time at they allowed cash or access to a bank account. They have zero possessions.

Everything they had is in trust to the people.

When they leave or quit everything is returned.

Pension? Sure, you get what you are awarded upon a job review of your performance that happens biannually, by a random selection of the general public who review everything you did and the results of what you did, so your reward can go up or down depending on the long term effects of your work for the country.

Me, I would willingly give up everything to lead a country, and work for the country, the problem is those around you are not like that, but if you put everyone in the same boat, then the mind set changes.

So political parties can remain the same, but once you are elected, you are owned by the public. Do whatever the party wants, but you final judgement is always down to the public.

In the UK the house of lords 1/3 should be randomly selected from the general public, and all laws passed must require at least 70% so some of the general public must agree to whatever is being discussed.

To repeal any law, a simple 1/3 is required, because imagine any law that is so offensive that a 1/3 would vote against it.

To work within the government you must be a citizen of the country, preferably born within the country.

No one on holiday can just decide to run. (Seriously, this has happened)

Wages are capped to the average wage of the GP, plus. So everyone again is in the same boat. As an MP you are not worth more than anyone else.

Bonuses for showing up, so the more actual work you do for your constituency the more you get paid, again on local review. So a jury of locals can decide if you are worth your wages or not.

Remember you are first voted for represent your local area, then assist in running the country.

Everything an MP does needs to be reviewed by a jury of locals, and we have a workable jury selection system already in place.

The system can change, the problem is the people who are in charge of it at the moment do not want it to change.

These are just idea, but the focus of these ideas is simple, review by the general public, that is key.

In the situation that the UK is in. Juries from various MPs  constituencies would have to have a special vote of no confidence, and effectively sack their MPs, or demanding that they vote for a no confidence vote against the government.

This in fact could happen now, constituencies could sack their MPs, but they don't have the guts, this is why at the constituency level it needs to be taken away from party politics and give to the general public.

Canada, the UK and Australia are being run by the same group of people, the statements are the same, the laws are the same, and something needs to  be done.

The power is with the people, the power is with the local armies, but nothing will get done.
